Jerry Jones has yet to offer Parsons an agreeable contract[/caption]
Parsons, 26, is currently in a contract standoff with the Cowboys.
The star linebacker is demanding a record deal worth $200MILLION but general manager Jerry Jones is yet to agree.
The situation had already turned ugly as he appeared to cut the mention of the Cowboys from his social media account on X.
Now he is set to be dragged in for showdown talks after appearing to fall ASLEEP during the Cowboys’ final preseason game.
He was pictured relaxing on a medical table during the game, with many believing he was getting some shut-eye.
Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer insisted that he will talk to the star about his “behavior”.
He said: “Without talking to Micah, I need to figure out what he was doing and why he was doing it.
“So, until I talk to him, I’m obviously not going to talk about it.”
Parsons has been treated by the medical team after dealing with “back tightness” during the team’s training camp.
This is despite Schottenheimer claiming that his recent MRI scan was “pretty clean”.
Jones has also dismissed the severity of the medical issues surrounding Parsons.
He believes that it is a negotiating tactic being deployed by the star and his agent.
The Cowboys managed to dispatch the Falcons without Parsons in the roster for the game.
They won the preseason meeting 31-13 at the AT&T Stadium.
