DAN ORLOVSKY did not hold back on commentary when he slammed a refereeing error made during Monday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets.
The battle between the two struggling teams on Monday Night Football proved to be an electric game.

The Dolphins picked up their first win of the season to ease the pressure on head coach Mike McDaniel.
But the conduct of one of their players set the stage for a bizarre no call at the Hard Rock Stadium.
The Jets were chasing a huge deficit in the fourth quarter when Justin Fields found tight end Jeremy Ruckert for a first down at the Dolphins’ 23-yard-line.
He was brought down as he managed to get the ball well over the line, but found himself blindsided while on the ground.
Dolphins defensive tackle Matthew Butler came steaming in with a late dive onto the grounded player, connecting with the back of the 25-year-old’s head.
Despite the entire stadium waiting for a flag on the play, none came, infuriating Orlovsky.
He fumed: “That’s got to be a flag.
“I mean you can’t miss this. That’s two tonight that are obvious against the Jets, that they just haven’t thrown.”
Jets fans clearly agreed with the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions quarterback, taking to social media to voice their frustrations.
One fan complained: “Only the Jets, this is a WEEKLY thing I’m so SICK of it.”

Another Jets supporter said: “Was more like the 5th or 6th obvious flag they missed but it s*** is just clockwork when it comes to the Jets.”
Even fans of their opponents had to accept that the flag should have been thrown.
One said: “I’m a Dolphin fan and even I can say that’s a pretty bad miss.”
Head coach Aaron Glenn was incensed on the sidelines, coming onto the field to plead his case with the referees.
It took the Jets just two more plays to find Garrett Wilson for the touchdown once things had calmed down, cutting the host’s lead down to six.

But in a game where you are chasing a multiple score lead, every moment counts, and 27-21 would remain the final score.
Though the result would have been a huge relief to the Dolphins, they suffered a blow to their season as Tyreek Hill suffered a grisly injury.
The former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver reportedly suffered a dislocated knee, and has likely received ligament damage in the joint as well.
His season is over, handing McDaniel an even bigger hill to climb as he looks to reverse the team’s losing start to the season.
He will get the chance to continue this comeback as the Dolphins travel to face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
