Davao City residents decry ‘militant hotbed’ label after Bondi attacker link

Residents of a southern Philippine city on Friday were dismayed about being stereotyped as a hotbed of Islamic militants after reports that the gunmen from the Bondi Beach attack stayed at one of its hotels for nearly a month.
