THOUSANDS of cases of a popular deodorant sold in stores such as Walmart and Dollar Tree have been recalled.
The products affected by the recall order are three types of Power Stick products.
And, the items were sold online at popular marketplaces such as Amazon, as well as grocery and budget friendly stores.
The cases of the deodorant were shipped nationwide, according to the recall report.
Officials at the Food and Drug Administration issued the notice on July 10 and 67,000 cases are being recalled.
Shoppers should check the code underneath the item’s barcode to see if they have been impacted.
Bosses have shared a series of lot numbers that have been impacted by the recall.
The reason for the recall is linked to its manufacturing standards.
It doesn’t mean necessarily that there is an issue with the deodorant itself.
Food and Drug Administration officials use a regulation scale that is known as the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP).
This is a scale that bosses use when deciding if products are safe and effective.
