SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sunday’s severe weather continues into today, as many parts of KELOLAND are experiencing their own cases of severe weather, including tornadoes and possible derechos.
Widespread destructive storms are moving from western South Dakota eastward. Tornado warnings will remain in effect into the evening hours.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for much of South Dakota. That will remain in effect until 10 p.m.
There is a confirmed tornado on the ground near Gregory, South Dakota. If you are in the area, you are encouraged to seek cover.
