DISNEY has hit its loyal fans with price hikes in the days following the controversy with Jimmy Kimmel Live! that cost the company billions.
As a result, subscribers can expect the cost of both Disney+ and Hulu to spike next month.
Disney’s ABC recently suspended the beloved Jimmy Kimmel Live! show following the host’s controversial comments regarding Charlie Kirk’s death.
The move dropped Disney’s stock by roughly 3% to 4%, or around $4 to $5 billion in market value.
The entertainment company reversed course and reinstated the show a few days later, grappling to bring back its numbers.
Disney recently announced a price hike on its Disney+ and Hulu platforms – a move that may be trying to compensate for subscriber loss or negative sentiment.
