Phoenix New Times reported that during the police proceedings, a positive syphilis test result was found in Chapman’s desk.
During his time as a teacher, one of the many foul things Chapman allegedly did was film sex with students in various locations, including his classroom.
The shocking case came to light only after Snapchat flagged his “online enticement” activity.
Snapchat’s policies explicitly bans such behavior where predators use the platform to groom minors and lure them into harmful situations, including sexual exploitation, sextortion, and abduction.
Chapman pleaded not guilty and court proceedings begin January 15, 2026.

Police also found a series of notebooks in his possession. These notebooks contained “ledgers” in which Chapman meticulously documented his sexual encounters.
The ledgers provided a detailed and chilling record of his alleged activities.
“Concerning to the state is that when law enforcement interviewed the suspect he admitted to sexual acts that happened as recently as last week,” Deputy Attorney Ashley Stetson at Maricopa County, Arizona was reported saying on court proceedings clipped by Fox News.
The victims include two current students, ages 16 and 17.
