
MANY Dollar Tree stores nationwide have been updated this year with merchandise that costs shoppers more money.
It’s part of the discount retailer’s new pricing structure, which operates on three different levels.

The third level or “3.0” level is the highest, with more popular items in-store listed up to $7 and a broader “multi-price” assortment.
While there weren’t too many 3.0 stores to start, CEO Michael C Creedon Jr confirmed on a Wednesday morning earnings call that around 585 additional Dollar Tree stores were converted this summer.
