A DRIVER has finally received his $4.8k refund two years after returning his SUV to a dealership.
And he’s not the only one because another dozen people had filed similar complaints.

He returned his car after his auto title was never delivered
Andre was one of about a dozen people who complained to the Attorney General about a local car dealer in South Columbus.
Many of them complained that after they bought their cars – their auto titles were never delivered.
A WBNS 10 Investigates report detailed the issues Andre Tyus and others experienced with All For U Auto Leasing.
And investigator Rochelle Ain took action and pressed the Attorney General’s office for answers.
This sort of thing is not unheard of
In April, Tyus returned the Honda he bought from a local dealer after waiting 5 months for the title.
It turned out he was one of about a dozen people who had filed similar complaints,
So the investigator pressed the Attorney General himself for answers.
Rochelle Ain asked him: “Are you guys investigating him?”
He replied: “The law says I’m not allowed to confirm or deny but what I can tell you is this sort of thing is not unheard of and we have had other situations just like this.”
Tyus got his check 2 years after he bought the car
After their investigation aired, Tyus got this letter telling him his case had been reassigned to a new agent.
Then nearly 2 years to the day he bought the car, he got his check.
It came courtesy of the state’s title defect rescission fund, which is set up to help refund people who find themselves in these kinds of situations.
And in light of this situation, Tyus says he has two messages to share.
First, for the Attorney General’s office he said: “Thank you. First of all, but next time, let’s be on it just like the last agent did.
And next, he told 10 TV he wants to encourage others to speak
up.
“You don’t have to fight that much. Because there’s ways madethat will fight for you, in this case goes 10 TV.”
10 Investigates also called the dealer to get an update on those car titles, but they have not heard back.
