A MASS shooting has left at least two people dead and four more injured after a shop worker opened fire on suspected robbers.
Police were called to a Cash For Gold shop in Oakland, California on Wednesday evening at around 8pm.

Oakland POA spokesperson Sam Singer told The San Francisco Chronicle five suspects entered the store before one pulled out a gun.
The store worker responded by firing shots leaving two of the suspects dead, police said.
Singer said: “He apparently shot and killed two robbers, wounded the other three in a major gunbattle.”
The three injured robbery suspects have been into custody at the hospital.
The store worker was also injured in the shooting but is expected to survive.
