Meanwhile, Andrews is usually a sideline reporter at games.
This means that the two are normally unable to present together for Fox.
Despite this, an exception was made for the pair during Fox’s live two-hour NFL Sunday special.
Fox NFL Sunday ordinarily fills a one hour slot, but this was extended for Week 2.
More than 3,000 fans attended the live show in Kansas City.
They were together on-screen before the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
This was a rematch of Super Bowl LIX.
The Eagles remain unbeaten in 2025 as they picked up a 20-17 win.
A post on the Fox Sports: NFL X account has dubbed the pair as “our favorite duo,” following their reunion.
Andrews and Thompson appeared before a live audience at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium.
The live show acted as a precursor to the Super Bowl rematch as the Chiefs extended their disappointing losing run.
Fox’s two hour long special supplied countless bizarre moments, with Terry Bradshaw, 77, squaring up to Howie Long, 65, live on-air.
