ESPN revealed a major broadcasting change, which will involve sportscaster Rich Eisen.
The NFL Network star will host ESPN’s flagship show, SportsCenter, for the first time in more the two decades.

The Rich Eisen Show won’t debut on ESPN until early next month.
But before it happens, the show’s host will return to a familiar job he once held earlier in his career.
The 56-year-old Eisen will host the 11:00 pm ET edition of SportsCenter on Monday night after the Monday Night Football matchup between the Washington Commanders and Cincinnati Bengals, per ESPN.
He will work in the studio alongside NFL analyst Mina Kimes.
The assignment will mark Eisen’s first time hosting the popular show he was well-known with during his first run at the network from 1996 to 2003.
Fans reacted to Eisen returning to his old roots on SportsCenter.

The gig will come before The Rich Eisen Show, which will be joining Disney‘s ESPN platforms on Tuesday, September 2.
Eisen’s daily show aired from noon to 3:00 pm EST on The Roku Channel.
The show will be aired on ESPN thanks to a licensing agreement.

Eisen is expected to continue his ownership and editorial control of the program.
The show will be aired on ESPN+, the network’s streaming platform, and Disney+.
Eisen will also get to make appearances across ESPN studio programming.
