She occasionally fills in for Molly Qerim on First Take when the popular presenter is off.

Peppler Cornette spent the early years of her broadcast career working as a reporter for the Bears.

She has a strong affiliation with Chicago and their sports teams.

But the Bears fan wore a Green Bay Packers shirt while at the team’s Lambeau Field home.

Peppler Cornette was seemingly on location to film content.

She shared a photo to her Instagram stories looking into a camera along with an operator.

The presenter wore a Green Bay Packers shirt with black yoga pants.

And she issued an apology to her fan base.

“I’m sorry Bears fans,” the ESPN anchor wrote.

“This was the hand I was dealt.”

Peppler Cornette was part of the network’s 50 States in 50 Days coverage.

That took her to the state of Wisconsin for the start of Green Bay Packers training camp.

The presenter was joined by Ryan Clark for that part of the tour.

And it clearly pained her to wear the jersey of a direct rival to her team.

Peppler Cornette worked for Fox 32 and ABC 7 in Chicago covering the Bears.

The host joined ESPN and began working on college sports as well as radio coverage.

She has become one of the network’s leading anchors.

Her bio on ESPN’s website mentions her selfless charitable work.

It reads, “Beyond her media career, she co-founded ‘Fashion’s Fight Against Cancer,’ a fundraising event that has raised over $200,000 for pediatric cancer research.

“In her spare time, Cornette enjoys outdoor activities with her dog, spending time by the water with her husband and children, cycling, and exploring her passion for interior design.”
