The much-awaited show that ruled the rating charts years back was brought back again, with the perfect blend of the OG actors and a new generation cast. The return of Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, as Tulsi and Mihir Virani, was a phenomenal moment for the TV viewing audience.
The best part is that Kyunki Saas… has had a great run, immediately garnering its special place in the minds of audiences. The ratings also followed with the show being one of the top-rated shows across GECs.
Within months of its launch, there was news of it being a finite series, with it supposed to wrap up within 200 episodes. Later, came the news of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi taking a leap and continuing its good run.
And now, the time has come for the much-talked-about leap!! We hear that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will leap 6-7 years soon.
As per a reliable source, “The story is being worked out, and the leap will happen sometime in a week or so.”
We buzzed the channel spokesperson and the Producer, but did not get a response till we filed the story.
The story plot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is presently precariously poised with Tulsi being on the verge of knowing the secret between Mihir and Noina. Also, Ranvijay’s marriage to Pari has brought a threat to the secure future of the Virani family.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the evergreen Balaji Telefilms on Star Plus, brings back memories of the past. The Virani family is back again, after 25 years. Tulsi and Mihir head the family, while Tulsi misses the matriarchs of the house, Baa and Savita Maa. The show has a new fresh cast in addition to the past household characters that were seen in the show.
