In a format where every minute counts, the show wastes no time pulling the viewer into the double life of its central character — a man seen as ordinary, even disappointing, by his own family, but who is secretly far more than he appears.
Hiten Tejwani steps into the role of the “family man” with quiet control. On the surface, he is a mocked insurance agent, constantly judged by his status-driven family and overlooked at home. His wife, played by Monalisa, views him as someone who never lived up to his potential.
At the same time, Anuj Sachdeva’s character adds to the tension by representing the world of charm, success, and temptation that slowly cracks the family from within. Right from the start, the characters are placed in a space where emotional neglect feels just as dangerous as the larger threat looming in the background.
What makes the story interesting is how it blends everyday domestic disappointment with a larger national crisis. The man everyone underestimates is actually a legendary secret agent living under deep cover. When a catastrophic bio-threat emerges, he is forced to make an impossible choice — protect the nation or preserve his family.
The show takes a bold turn when he stages his own heroic death, leaving his family behind to deal with the shock, guilt, and truth that slowly begin to surface.
Monalisa brings a sharp edge to her role. Her character is not painted as a simple villain, but as someone driven by frustration, unmet expectations, and emotional distance.
Anuj Sachdeva adds intensity, though his character occasionally feels predictable, serving more as a trigger for conflict than a fully explored personality.
The idea of a hero being unrecognised in his own home works well, especially when contrasted with the emotional collapse of the family after his “death.” There is a subtle commentary on how society measures success and how easily real sacrifice goes unnoticed.
It may not explore every idea in detail, but it delivers enough intrigue and emotion to keep viewers hooked and curious about where the story is heading.
