FOODIES have been left raging after Trader Joe’s discontinues a very popular breakfast item.
The Chicken Sauce Breakfast Bowl from Trader Joe’s, which was first spotted in freezer aisles last year, proved a huge hit with shoppers over the last few months.

Made with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and cheddar cheese, the frozen find which was priced at $4.49, sent foodies wild, with many praising its “crazy” amount of protein.
But now, Trader Joe’s fans have been left in tears after realising that the purse-friendly buy has been discontinued.
Posting on TraderJoe’s Discontinued, a public Facebook group with 11,900 members, Don Sivley uploaded a snap of the tasty breakfast bowl and sobbed: “Wah! They discontinued the chicken sausage breakfast bowl!”
The foodie then added: “These were my go-to fill-me-up breakfast.”
Not only this, but Don also recognised: “Then to add insult to injury they don’t sell chicken breakfast sausage in the tube that you can break up and cook and make your own bowl.”
Don’s post has left many open-mouthed, with numerous users responding with shocked and crying emojis.
But fear not, as shoppers have claimed that Waffle House’s version is a perfect dupe.
Commenting on Don’s post, a fast food fanatic named John Meyer advised: “Go to Waffle House and get their breakfast bowl!”
He then explained: “I know, 10,000% more unhealthy but sooo tasty.”
To this, Don replied and acknowledged: “I’ve never been to Waffle House but the breakfast bowl there has to be good from what I’ve heard about their food in general.”
And this isn’t the only item that’s recently been discontinued from Trader Joe’s.
Just last month, shoppers were left “so sad” after confirming that a “favorite” and “premium style” lunch staple had been permanently removed from shelves.

Tom Allen was gutted to have not been able to stock up on the Peruvian Style Chimichurri Rice with Vegetables and took to social media to share his disappointment.
Sharing his love for the rice dish, Tom wrote: “Say it ain’t so. It’s not available at my local Trader Joe’s.”
Shoppers rushed to the comments and revealed that the popular dish had in fact been discontinued, as one gutted person said: “Yes, discontinued! I loved it so much!”
Another added: “Discontinued almost a year ago.”
A third commented: “So sad. My fav rice.”
Meanwhile, one Trader Joe’s shopper claimed: “It was discontinued a while back.”
