Clark, 23, was not at her usual explosive self as she only managed 11 points during the match.
But there was one moment in the game that caught the attention on the onlooking fans.
Clark was whistled for a travel violation, to which Warriors star and Valkyries supporter Podziemski was quick to make light of.
The guard was courtside during the game and could be seen mimicking the travel call as Clark walked past.
This caused a stir on social media as fans responded to the moment.
One posted: “Caitlin Clark got taunted by a fan for a traveling call.
“That fan happened to be Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski haha.”
A second commented: “Not Brandin Podziemski clowning Caitlin Clark for the travel.”
A third wrote: “This is hilarious.”
A fourth said: “Brandin Podziemski wanted to make sure Caitlin Clark knew she traveled.”
Another added: “He has more courtside highlights than playoffs highlights.”
Poziemski even posted himself on social media amidst all the talk.
He wrote: “No good [laughing emoji] we goin the other way [purple heart emoji] with it Love my Valkyries [heart emoji].”
It was an off night for Clark as her performance was branded “terrible” by Dave Portnoy.
He posted: “Caitlin had terrible game. Happy for Kate Martin though.
“Also Golden State is 1st crowd I’ve seen that was a true home crowd that was there for their team and not for Caitlin. Good for WNBA.”
Meanwhile, WNBA chiefs have admitted that the Connecticut Sun’s Marina Mabrey should have been ejected for her challenge on Clark.
She shockingly pushed the Fever’s star to the ground in their 88-71 defeat to Indiana Fever in Tuesday’s game.
The WNBA has revealed that the referee made an error by not sending Mabrey off the court.
ESPN claim that her technical has now been upgraded to a flagrant 2.
Mabrey will also be fined for her actions.
