Fast food chain with 900 outlets closing every single location today

A MASSIVE fast food chain is officially turning away Americans from all 900 of its restaurants today.

Raising Cane’s is closing all of its locations for 24 hours in recognition of Labor Day, a celebration of the US workforce.

Raising Cane’s follows the federal holiday calendar, meaning that every time there is one, all operations will cease.

In a statement to USA Today, the chain confirms that this is the case for Labor Day this year.

Customers will not be able to access the restaurants or the food until September 2.

Raising Cane’s is not delivering today, either, but Americans can seek out other chains that are open.

While most fast food chains observe Labor Day in some way, they can open with limited hours.

McDonald’s, one of the biggest chains in the world, is open on Labor Day.

The company has confirmed with USA Today that the opening hours vary by location.

Other chains that will be open today with limited hours include Burger King, Subway, Cracker Barrel and Taco Bell.

If you are unsure, you should use the store locator on the chain’s website to check your local restaurant’s hours.

BLOW TO THE BANKS

Major banks are also closed today, including Bank of America, Chase Bank and Wells Fargo.

Americans will have their transactions halted, and any scheduled ones will not go out until tomorrow.

It restricts the ability to speak to a bank teller at a brick-and-mortar location.

If you need to speak to someone regarding a loan, for example, this needs to wait.

Federal holiday Schedule

  • New Year’s Day
  • Easter Sunday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

However, if you need to make a payment today, it doesn’t matter if it isn’t processed until tomorrow.

RETAIL SAVIORS

Walmart has confirmed that it will be open on Labour Day, but will operate on limited hours.

You can access the store locator for Walmart to double-check what your local locations are doing today.

Other stores remaining open for Labor Day include Target, Kohl’s and Sam’s Club.

While it’s wise to check with your local Target and Kohl’s store, Sam’s Club is using Labor Day to reward its members.

Customers with a Plus membership will be able to shop in-store from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Club members won’t have access to the store until 10:00am through to 6:00pm.
