THERE are concerns that Caitlin Clark will not take part in the WNBA All-Star game.
Clark aggravated a groin injury at the end of the Indiana Fever’s win over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night.

Clark’s status for the 2025 WNBA All-Star game this weekend remains unclear[/caption]
This year’s All-Star game takes place in Indianapolis, where Clark plays her Fever games.
But the 23-year-old’s status for the contest is unclear after she injured her groin while making a pass to teammate Kelsey Mitchell.
Clark walked slowly to sit down on the bench, where she put a towel on her head and appeared to fight back tears.
The Iowa Hawkeyes product had missed four games due to the groin injury and has missed 10 contests in total due to injuries before returning last week.
Clark has a chance of missing this weekend’s All-Star festivities.
The two-time All-Star is not only set to captain one of the two teams in Saturday’s event.
Clark also recently announced her intention to take part in Friday night’s 3-point contest.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Fever said that Clark’s availability is “questionable” due to a “right groin” injury against the Sun.
Indiana will face the defending champion New York Liberty on Wednesday night.
After Tuesday’s game, Fever coach Stephanie White revealed the team will take it “one step at a time” as they evaluate the severity of Clark’s injury.
“I think we just take it one step at a time,” White said, via ESPN.
“We’ll get some food and get on the plane and start talking about New York.
‘She’s being evaluated; we’ll see where we are with that. And certainly, we’ll have another evaluation, probably, and conversation in the morning, see where we are.
“But this group has played without her. At least we’ve got experience in that.

‘We know that we have a tough opponent in New York.
“We know that it’s going to be a challenge, no matter what, and we’ve just got to get locked in and ready to compete.”
Clark posted 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and five turnovers in the Tuesday game.
It’ll be challenging for her to play Wednesday’s game as it’s the second of a back-to-back for Indy.
Clark has not played in back-to-back games this season.
