Sanders, 57, previously revealed that he’s battling an unspecified problem which has kept him away from the spotlight.

The coach appeared at Big 12 media day but didn’t elaborate on his health.

And fans were left fearing that he could be forced to resign from Colorado to look after his wellbeing.

Sanders has called a press conference for Monday morning in Boulder, Colorado.

And fans will hope to get more answers on what the NFL legend has been battling.

The news conference will take place at 11 am Mountain Time, which is 1 pm ET.

He will be joined by his medical team for the meeting.

It’s unclear exactly what Sanders will be talking about.

A statement said he will give “team and general updates.”

The statement added, “It will be his first news conference of the 2025 fall camp for the Buffaloes.”

The former NFL receiver is often very action on X.

Last week he shared an update which could’ve been in reference to his health.

“Back and feeling great,” Sanders wrote.

And fans took that as a positive sign that the coach will be ready for the 2025 season.

One said, “Love you, Coach Prime! Keeping you lifted, brother.

“I wish you all the best and a winning season.”

Another posted, “Welcome back Coach.”

While a third commented, “Boulder Missed you Deion, let’s have a great season.”

The Buffaloes have become on the biggest television draws in college football under Sanders.

They begin their season against Georgia Tech in a primetime game.
