JUST days after being traded to the Green Bay Packers, there are fears that Micah Parsons could miss the season-opener.
Recent reports indicate that Parsons is dealing with a back injury that is causing him serious pain.

According to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter, Parsons is dealing with a L4/L5 facet joint sprain in his back.
This may force him to take an epidural to manage the pain ahead of Week 1.
Before being traded by the Dallas Cowboys, Parsons was on a physical therapy plan and was taking anti-inflammatory drugs.
Parsons is still practicing, but this is a major question mark over his availability on Sunday.
This is a pretty major situation, and a medically confusing one as well, so sports medicine doctor Brian Sutterer broke down exactly what is going on with Parsons and how he will be treated.
“An epidural is done for disc/spinal canal issues or nerve impingement,” he wrote on X.
“Facet joint injections are different. And the facet joint ‘sprain’ is probably just an attempt at describing degenerative changes in those joints (not uncommon in athletes).
“You don’t just casually take an epidural injection before a game.
“You have it done multiple days prior under x-ray guidance by a specialist and it takes multiple days to take effect.”
Most importantly, Sutterer revealed that this injury isn’t all that concerning even if it sounds scary.
“This is all very common and likely done in multiple players every week without us hearing boo about it,” he said.
In all likelihood, Parsons will play on Sunday.
However, that explanation didn’t shut down fans concerns and they shared their thoughts on social media.
“Trading away two first looking scary right now,” one fan said.
