Molly Qerim and Stephen A. Smith both recently returned to set after their respective summer breaks.

But First Take has made way for other events on ESPN in recent weeks.

Tuesday 5 August and Wednesday 6 August will see changes to the show.

According to television listings, it will be on air from 10 am ET to 11 am ET.

Little league baseball will air on the channel from 11 am ET.

On Monday, First Take will be shown in it’s entirety on ESPN 2.

Monday’s television listings show that little league baseball is on from 9 am ET.

Get Up! usually airs from 8 am ET to 10 am ET leading into First Take.

But the second half of Get Up! and all of First Take will instead be on ESPN 2.

The network’s programming will return to normal from next week ahead of NFL season.

Get Up! and First Take will be followed onto air by the Pat McAfee Show at midday ET.

Qerim and Smith both took extended breaks over the summer after a grueling season.

announced her vacation to fans on Instagram after the NBA Finals.

Her break coincided with First Take being bumped down to ESPN2 for two weeks.

ESPN was showing Wimbledon live from London, England on the main channel for the fortnight.

There were two days where First Take was ditched altogether.

ESPN and ESPN2 both showed quarterfinal action simultaneously on those days.

Qerim and Smith were both officially back from vacation last week.

But they had a short working week after taking Thursday and Friday off.

ESPN once again prioritised little league over live sports.
