FIRST TAKE fans are convinced Molly Qerim’s replacement has been found.
Qerim, 41, quit the show last Tuesday after a decade hosting the ESPN daily programme.

The popular presenter announced her shock departure on social media after news of the move leaked.
ESPN president of content Burke Magnus then revealed the show will be auditioning potential replacements over the course of the next month, and potentially longer.
First Take started tryouts on Monday and had Amina Smith teaming up with Stephen A. Smith, Cam Newton and Dan Orlovsky.
And Amina‘s hosting audition appears to have been a massive success.
First Take fans stormed social media shortly after the 31-year-old’s debut and demanded she replaces Qerim.
One viewer tweeted: “Make Amina Smith the permanent host for First Take.”
Another commented: “Amina Smith on First Take was good.”
A third wrote: “I told yall for years that ESPN should build around Amina Smith.. They just now seeing the vision.”
This fan said: “Amina Smith, I wasn’t familiar with your game. I owe you an apology.”
And that one posted: “Amina Smith is gonna end up the new First Take host.”
Amina graduated from the University of Miami and has been with ESPN since 2024 following a stint at NBC Sports Boston.
The journalist has been a SportsCenter anchor in her year-plus with the network.
The presenter has also worked at Fox Sports, the Big Ten Network, BET Networks and Stadium Sports.
