A MASSIVE wave of recalls has hit major retailers across the country, including Walmart, Sam’s Club and Home Depot.
Among them are nearly 780,000 pressure washers linked to explosions that have left dozens of shoppers injured.

The dangerous devices were sold nationwide at one of America’s biggest home improvement chains.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the Ryobi electric pressure washers have a capacitor that can overheat and burst.
The fault can send parts flying out at high speed, creating a risk of serious injuries to users or bystanders.
Around 764,000 units were sold in the US and another 16,000 in Canada.
The affected models are RY142300 and RY142711VNM, which are green, with a spray nozzle, detergent tank, blue cap and storage for accessories.
The products were available at Home Depot stores, Direct Tools Factory Outlet and online at homedepot.com between July 2017 and June 2024, priced between $300 and $400.
TTI Outdoor Power Equipment has logged 135 overheating reports, including 41 explosions that left 32 people injured, with fractures to fingers, hands, faces and eyes.
Buyers are urged to stop using the washers immediately and visit the Ryobi recall website to check their model.
A free repair kit with a replacement capacitor and shipping is being offered.
After the pressure washer recall, federal officials also flagged a series of food products sold at Walmart that could pose risks to shoppers.
These items include premade salads, cartons of ice cream, and even imported shrimp.
Taylor Farms Salad Kit – Walmart
One of the food recalls involves a Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit sold at Walmart.
The August 26 recall was issued after some kits were found to contain the wrong dressing, introducing undeclared sesame and soy allergens.
The impacted salads were shipped to Walmart stores in 23 states, including California, Florida, New York, Texas and Virginia.

In one of the most alarming warnings, the FDA said frozen shrimp imported from PT. Bahari Makmur Sejati of Indonesia tested positive for cesium-137, a radioactive contaminant.
The tainted products were pulled from shelves in states including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio and Texas.
The FDA has placed the Indonesian supplier on an import alert, blocking future shipments until safety compliance is verified.
Walmart confirmed it had removed the shrimp from stores and said customer safety was a “top priority.”
Blue Bell Ice Cream – Walmart
Blue Bell Creameries also pulled its Moo-llennium Crunch half-gallon cartons after they were mistakenly packaged in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cartons.
The error meant the ice cream contained undeclared almond, walnut and pecan, triggering allergy risks.
Affected cartons carried code 061027524 on the lid.
Distribution covered states including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas and Virginia.
The company said no illnesses have been reported so far.
High Noon Vodka Seltzer – Walmart
Another Walmart recall involved High Noon Vodka Seltzer Beach Packs.
The 12-pack cases were mistakenly filled with Celsius Astro Vibe energy drink cans.
The mislabeled cases were sold at select stores in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin.
The mix-up could confuse consumers and lead to unsafe alcohol consumption.
Sam’s Club Fruit Recall
At Sam’s Club, a recall was issued for Member’s Mark Freeze Dried Fruit Variety Packs over Listeria contamination concerns.
The products, sold in 15-count boxes, were distributed nationwide and in Puerto Rico between July 1 and July 25, 2025.
Listeria can cause severe illness, particularly in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions, LLC, the supplier, initiated the recall.
Shoppers were urged to return the fruit packs to Sam’s Club for a refund or dispose of them.
“Walmart and Sam’s Club are committed to the health and safety of our customers and members,” the retailer said in a statement.
The company said it moves quickly to block recalled items from sale and remove them from stores once issues are flagged.
