Jim Farley said that he’s thinking about the company‘s next move, which could be a super vehicle for any terrain.

The CEO spoke on Bloomberg’s Hot Pursuit podcast about the idea.

“No one’s ever built a supercar for gravel, high-speed sand, dirt,” he said on the show.

“I’m thinking really deeply about it, and usually that turns into something.”

Farley said he wanted the high-performance vehicle that could be in the Dakar Rally, a Saudi Arabia race.

The annual competition goes across intense terrain in an effort to test vehicle endurance.

The new supercar would be a follow up to their newest high-performance sports vehicle, the Mustang GTD.

The newest Mustang has a staggering price tag of $325,00, with production limited to 300 cars.

“I want to win Dakar way more than Formula One,” he told Bloomberg.

The new car concept would be “a 1000-horsepower, partially electric, totally digitally enabled.”

Farley said that he’s been pushing engineers to come up with something that could handle rugged off-roading.

He predicted the car would have a price range of $300,000.

“That would be a great direction for our company,” he told the podcast.

“These Raptor people are telling us something.”

Ford’s Raptor has become a favorite amongst the company due to its high performance.

“They’re not stupid. They’re really smart people,” he said of its fans.

“They spent $120,000 on an 800-horsepower pickup truck.”

He said that he was looking to make a car that could handle anything.

“I want us to build a vehicle so that all people could experience what it’s like to have the joy of driving: no matter what is in front of you.”
