Gruden, 61, did have a short stint as a consultant with the New Orleans Saints in 2023.

But now he wants to return to a more prominent role full time.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Gruden visited the Georgia Bulldogs.

During his trip, he vowed, “I want to coach again.”

Gruden has spent the majority of his lengthy coaching career in the NFL.

But now he admits that college football is where he sees his future.

“I’m being honest with you. I do not bulls*** either,” Gruden continued.

“I want to coach again. I’d die to coach in the SEC. I would love it. I would f***ing love it.

“I’m gonna tell you guys this. What I know about the SEC is it’s getting harder. The SEC is getting harder.

“They tell me Texas is in the SEC. They tell me Oklahoma is in the SEC. Goddamn. Texas A&M.”

Gruden did work for several college programs early on in his coaching career.

They included Tennessee, Southeast Missouri State, Pacific and Pittsburgh.

Gruden went on to land NFL head coaching jobs with the Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

His crowning achievement saw him win Super Bowl XXXVII with the Buccaneers in 2003.

The game saw Gruden guide Tampa Bay to victory over his former Raiders squad 48-21 in San Diego.

Gruden, who now works for Barstool Sports, left the Raiders five games into the 2021 season.

His exit came amid alleged leaked offensive emails.

Barstool boss Dave Portnoy admitted in May that he sees Gruden coaching in the NFL again.

Portnoy said, “I would be stunned if he’s not an NFL coach at some time again.

I don’t think it’s going to be, like, tomorrow, but the guy eats, lives, breathes football. So I think that’s what he loves.
