Fox News announces new weekend line-up and a fan favorite ex-press secretary now has her own primetime show


FOX News is shaking things up on it’s weekend programming.

Starting September 20, a prominent former White House press secretary will have her own primetime show.

But that’s not the only change coming. The network announced more lineup changes and new shows in a news release.

One new show will be called Saturday in America and its host is a fan-favorite alum of the first Trump Administration.

Outnumbered has a mix of political debate and cultural commentary. Fox said McEnany’s new show is said to bring the same elements.

OTHER CHANGES

Griff Jenkins, a familiar face at Fox is getting a new gig as well. He’s being promoted to co-host for Fox & Friends Weekend.

Jenkins has a long history of being a correspondent and his perspectives will now add to the weekend morning show.

Sunday’s viewers will see the debut of The Sunday Briefing, a new political program featuring White House correspondents from the network.

Peter Doocy and Jacqui Jeinrich, both White House correspondents, will also rotate as solo hosts weekly, giving viewers distinct perspectives.

Howie Kurtz is stepping down from hosting MediaBuzz, with his final episode airing Sunday.

Kurtz is not leaving Fox though, he is moving into a political media analyst role.

The Big Weekend Show is also getting an update. It’s expanding to three hours and adding new co-hosts, including Johnny Joey Jones, a former Marine turned motivational speaker, and Tomi Lahren.

Fox News viewers have long admired McEnany. She became a darling of the network after a brief stint as Donald Trump’s press secretary during the end of his first administration. One of the moments that truly connected Kayleigh with fans was when she announced her third pregnancy live on air, including a gender reveal.

McEnany’s first two children, Blake and Nash, took center stage as they bit into cupcakes filled with pink frosting, revealing they were expecting a baby girl.
