Starting this season, Rob Gronkowski will be in the Fox NFL Sunday studio full time as Johnson’s replacement.

He will star alongside Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Michael Strahan on the desk.

Fans were thrilled to hear that Gronk will be on the desk every week and shared their thoughts on social media.

“Gronk deserves it,” one fan said.

“Congrats, Gronk!” another fan said.

“Gronk will be good,” a third fan said.

“I like Gronk, good for him,” a fourth fan said.

“GRONK BIG PROMOTION,” a fifth fan said.

Bradshaw is still on the desk despite some calls for his retirement.

He believes he still has a few more years before retirement.

“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there, I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76,’” he said before the Super Bowl.

“Okay, so it’s a young man’s game.

“I get that.’ Everybody wants the new.

“And so I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s, I think that’s time’.
