JIMMY Johnson drew a reaction from his fans after remarks about Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Johnson, 81, was hired by Jones to be Cowboys head coach by Jones in 1989.

He led the team to two Super Bowl wins during the early years of Jones’ ownership.
The pair parted ways in 1994 and Johnson went on to have a broadcasting career just as iconic as coaching.
He was part of Fox NFL Sunday until he announced his retirement after this year’s Super Bowl.
Johnson left the Cowboys after a number of disagreements with Jones.
But he and Jones are seemingly on terms now with Johnson being invited back to the Dallas a number of times.
Johnson heavily features in a new documentary about the Dallas Cowboys.
“America’s Team: The Gambler and his Cowboys” is released on Netflix next week.
It looks at Jones’ reign as owner and the franchise’ period of success in the 1990s.
The documentary had a premiere in Hollywood earlier this week.
And Johnson posted on X, “Give Jerry credit, he is a tireless worker, has great passion and is the finest marketer and businessman I have ever known.”
But fans were left divided over the comments.
The team is valued at $12.8 billion – the most in the NFL and one of the top valuations in the world.
But it’s been 30 years since their last Super Bowl victory.
One fan said, “All things that make a good owner but a terrible GM.”
Another agreed, “Great owner. One of the worst GMs in history.”
But one more argued, “Can’t argue that statement.
“Should have never fired ya brother.
“We would have many Super Bowls if the course was stayed.”
Jones is currently locked in a contract dispute with star pass rusher Micah Parsons.
And one fan said, “If he doesn’t sign Micah, I think 90% of cowboys fans will lose respect for him.”
