FOX Sports has revealed a huge broadcasting addition that will mark an important milestone.

Fox Sports is gearing up for its soccer coverage of the FIFA World Cup 26, which begins on June 11, 2026, and ends on July 19, 2026.
In doing so, on Tuesday, the network announced the addition of a new TV show for soccer fans.
Fox Sports said in a press release that it will broadcast a live one-hour show special to preview next year’s World Cup on Friday, June 13 at 8:00 pm ET.
The program, called FIFA World Cup 26: One Year to Go, will be aired live from Miami‘s South Beach and feature a celebration with live performances, FIFA legends, celebrities, and more hosted from multiple stages,” the press release added.
Fox Sports’ Charrisa Thompson and former US Men’s National Team (USMNT) star Stu Holden will be the show’s hosts.
They will be joined by National Soccer Hall of Famer and Fox Soccer analyst Alexi Lalas and longtime sports reporter Tom Rinaldi.
The pair is set to interview FIFA’s high-ranking members, international and US soccer icons, and more during the night.
There will also be an exclusive sit-down interview with USMNT Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino and Rinaldi.
Fox Sports will announce musical performances and special guests in the coming days.
Social media users reacted to the network’s announcement of the new live program.
“Can’t wait for the biggest event ever,” one wrote.

“I’m interested,” a third said.
“Fantastic!” a fourth stated.
The host Thompson has worked for Fox Sports since 2013.

She is currently the host of Fox NFL Kickoff and also works as an NFL sideline reporter.
Thompson also hosts the pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage of Amazon Prime‘s Thursday Night Football broadcasts.
Rinaldi joined Fox Sports in 2021 and covers a wide range of sports.
Both Thompson and Rinaldi had previously worked for ESPN.
