The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup is currently underway, and the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 is set to begin next week.
And a top analyst will be ready to share her opinions on both tournaments.
On Monday, Fox Sports announced that US women’s soccer icon Carli Lloyd will be back to work for a third consecutive summer.
She will make her on-air season debut on July 2 and anchor coverage of WOMEN’S EURO TODAY before the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 group-stage matches.
“With the UEFA Women’s EURO starting up and the U.S. off to a good start in the Gold Cup, I’m thrilled to be back with FOX Sports for what promises to be an incredible next few months of soccer,” Lloyd said in a statement.
“I can’t wait to cover all the storylines across both tournaments and especially with the UEFA Women’s EURO, continuing to be a part of growing the women’s game on FOX with a really impressive schedule that puts the tournament and players center stage.”
Lloyd joined Fox Sports in 2022 and began her broadcasting journey during the World Cup in Qatar.
She then joined the network for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 before working in the studio last year for the Copa America 2024.
Lloyd became a broadcasting sensation during the 2023 Women’s World Cup after revealing bold opinions on the United States Women’s National Team.
Lloyd’s debut analyst season saw her earn a Sports Emmy nod for Outstanding Emerging Personality.
She did receive criticism for her takes, including from then-USWNT manager Vlatko Andonovski, who called her “insane.”
Numerous soccer personalities, including Alexi Lalas and Rebecca Lowe, backed Lloyd during the criticism.
Lloyd also defended herself, saying she’s the only one “brave enough to say” her thoughts on the game of soccer.
The two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion has since called for more brutally honest analysis in women’s sports.
This year has been good to Lloyd, as she’s a 2025 National Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee.

The 42-year-old was recognized for her 17 years of iconic international play.
Lloyd finished with 316 caps, the second most of all-time in US history, and earned two-time Olympic gold medals.
She was also the FIFA Women’s Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016.
