Fox Sports revealed a new transition plan after axing multiple programs recently.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Danny Parkins will join First Things First as a full-time analyst, per Front Office Sports.

The outlet added that the program will expand to three hours.

The show had been two hours long.

Parkins will join the regular cast of Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes.

Eric Mangini and Greg Jennings will continue to be contributors on the show, FOS also reported.

First Things First will air from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET each weekday.

Parkins’ role will only be on the new third hour, the report added.

Fox Sports’ broadcasting changes come after the network cancelled Breakfast Ball, The Facility, and Speak last week.

Parkins previously worked alongside Craig Carton and Mark Schlereth at Breakfast Ball.

While Carton and Schlereth’s futures are in flux at FS1, Parkins has landed back on his feet.

One day after FS1’s cuts, the former Chicago radio host filled in for fellow Syracuse alum Wright on First Things First.

It’s not known when FS1’s new daytime lineup will be announced.

Fox Sports announced last week the additions of Barstool Sports and its founder, Dave Portnoy, to its programming.

The network revealed that Portnoy will appear on the college football pregame show Big Noon Kickoff.

The 48-year-old shared that a Barstool show will air in the morning from 8:00 am to 10:00 am ET.
