FOX Sports has lost an NFL reporter in a surprise development.
It was revealed Tuesday that Fox Sports has moved on from NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Schultz worked for Fox Sports for just the 2024 NFL season.
But the Washington Post’s Ben Strauss revealed in an extensive piece on Schultz that he has parted ways with Fox Sports.
During his time with Fox, Schultz was an NFL reporter and insider and hosted an NFL podcast with Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.
The Washington Post also revealed that Schultz had a conflict with the NFL and Fox Sports when he spoiled picks at the 2025 NFL Draft and shared NFL schedule news before the network wanted the info out.
Fox confirmed Schultz’s departure to the news outlet.
“He’s no longer on our air,” a Fox spokesman told The Post when asked about Schultz’s status.
The report added that Schultz did share that his Fox contract was only for one year and “he planned to leave, anyway.
NFL fans were surprised by Schultz’s departure from Fox Sports.
“Wow I didn’t expect that,” one wrote.
“Wild,” a second added.
Schultz has previously worked at Bleacher Report, NBC Sports, Sirius XM, Yahoo, ESPN, SI Now, and theScore.
He is the polarizing son of billionaire Starbucks mogul Howard Schultz.
The Washington Post wrote about Schultz’s rise in the sports media world and how his fellow insiders have criticized his work.
One unnamed report compared Schultz to what LIV Golf and Saudi money have done to golf.
Schultz also got into a bust-up with NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport at a Starbucks in Indianapolis during the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

The encounter was investigated by the NFL as Rapoport allegedly badmouthed Schultz and called out his reporting tactics for receiving tidbits.
The Post also dove into Schultz’s close relationships with people in the NFL world and shared that he’s gone on vacations with active players.
As for Schultz’s current employment, it’s not exactly known what the 29-year-old is up to.
He was part of a Fanatics Fest NYC 2025 panel that featured NFL Cameron Jordan and the NBA star Green in New York City over the weekend.
