Vehicle Motion Cues helps trick your brain into thinking your body is in motion rather than just the vehicle (stock)[/caption]

It is giving passengers hope that they can finally get work done, stay in touch with friends, and entertain themselves on long journeys.

The hack works by tricking your brain that you are moving even when sitting still.

This is because motion sickness is caused when your brain receives mixed signals from your eyes, inner ear and body, the Cleveland Clinic explains.

When your brain can’t make sense of being in a moving vehicle but you sitting still it can cause nausea, dizziness, headaches and other debilitating symptoms.

As a result, many who suffer from it cannot look at a screen while in a moving vehicle.

But now people have started finding the “Vehicle Motion Cues” setting on Apple smartphones.

It can be found in settings and puts small animated dots on your phone screen.

Your phone senses the motion of the vehicle and moves the dots in the same direction which helps your brain process the motion you are moving in.

Users can turn them on and off when they get in and out of vehicles or put the setting on automatic.

“This hack is a game changer,” one person wrote in the caption to a TikTok video.

“It helps you so much! I can actually be on my phone in the car now,” fellow TikToker Kaylee Andrew said.

“I used to not be able to do it at all because my head would start pounding.”

“That’s amazing!! Now if they can do this for the mac book so I can work on long road trips,” another commented.

Some users have reported that they have also found the setting on their iPads.

“I’ve been using this for a few months and I loveeeee it,” another happy traveler said.

To find it, Apple users should go: Settings > Accessibility > Motion.

There they will find the tab “Show Vehicle Motion Cues” and a toggle that can be switched on or off or on automatic.

Google is also working on getting a similar feature to compete with Apple.

But some have said that it does not help them at all and in some cases actually makes them feel more sick.

Meanwhile, others have hailed another phone hack that improves any day out and will save you money.
