BALTIMORE Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson shoved a fan during Sunday night’s dramatic 41-40 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Jackson had just thrown a 29-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins in the third quarter and was celebrating near the front row of Highmark Stadium.

Jackson later admitted his emotions got the better of him[/caption]
A fan in the front row wearing a red Bills jersey struck Hopkins on the helmet.
The fan then slapped Jackson on the head, prompting an immediate reaction from the Ravens star.
Jackson pushed the fan with both hands, sending him stumbling backward.
The fan was quickly escorted out of the stadium following the incident.
Jackson later explained the moment, “He slapped me and he was talking so I just forgot where I was for a little bit.
“You have to think in those situations, there’s security out there, let them handle it.
“But I let my emotions get the best of me.”
The 26-year-old, two-time NFL MVP acknowledged the mistake, saying, “Hopefully, it doesn’t happen again. I learned from that.”
Despite the shove, Jackson insisted the incident won’t stop him from celebrating with fans in the future.
He said, “I’ve never seen our fans do that. I’ll probably do it again when we score a touchdown.
“It’s nothing against the fans, I’m just celebrating when my teammates score.”
Fans on social media quickly came to Jackson’s defense.
One said, “The fan should be banned from every stadium.”
Another commented, “Fine the fan. Lamar behaved exactly correctly.”
While a third added, “Fans have to be better than this.”
