The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in Kingman, Arizona, is investigating a homicide that happened on September 5, 2025.

The department shared that officers responded to a suspicious package located in a wash.

At the time, the person reporting the package believed that there was a dead person in the cardboard box.

“The reporting party indicated he owned the property and was driving around checking on things when he located the box and alerted law enforcement,” the sheriff’s department posted on Facebook.

“Another subject on scene indicated that he had observed a vehicle near the wash with the trunk open the night prior, but it was dark outside, and he could not identify the vehicle.”

When investigators arrived at the scene, they confirmed a dead woman was inside the box.

That woman was later identified as Bosher, a transient from Las Vegas.

“Detectives made contact with their counterparts at Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) and were informed that Bosher was arrested by their agency for charges of Indecent Exposure on August 30th, 6 days prior to locating her,” the department continued.

“This investigation is ongoing, as we collaborate with LVMPD to uncover the details of this incident.

“There was nothing located on the scene to indicate that Bosher was killed at that location.”

“I still can’t wrap my head around it,” Bosher’s younger sister told 12 News.

“She was a very sweet person…she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.”

The victim’s sister said Bosher taught her how to read and write.

She received the tragic news about her older sister’s death on September 6.

Whoever it is needs to be caught. She is a person that didn’t deserve this.
