More than 500,000 Filipino families or almost 2 million individuals were affected by the southwest monsoon and the onslaught of tropical cyclones “Crising”, “Emong” and “Dante” as of 6 p.m. of July 23, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
