
SPORTS reporter Helen Yee left her legion of followers stunned with her Independence Day post.
Yee has made a serious name for herself over the last decade with her stellar coverage of some of the biggest sports in the world, including basketball and mixed martial arts.

When she’s not on the court, cageside or conducting interviews with some of the biggest names in sport, Yee often gives her followers on social media a glimpse into her life.
And the 32-year-old, who is training to be part of Team USA‘s 2028 Olympic swimming squad, gave them an eye-popping display with her annual July 4 post
Yee posted a throwback snap of herself on a boat donning a tight American-flagged bikini, which accentuated her taut figure.
Her accompanying caption read: “Hope everyone has a safe & Happy 4th of July! Favorite food to eat today?”
Scores of Yee’s followers flooded the comments section, with one saying: “I wasn’t familiar with your game.”
Another said: “God bless America!”
And another said: “DAMN HELEN.”
One remarked: “Jesus Christ, Helen.”

And another chimed in: “Happy Independence Day.”
The fourth of July isn’t the only reason Yee has been in a celebratory mode the last few weeks.
She recently tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Dave Schmulenson, who is better known by sports personality alter-ego – The Schmo,
Sharing snaps of their big day in a joint Instagram post, the couple said: “June 12th 2025.”
The couple were inundated with congratulatory messages, with one UFC announcer Bruce Buffer writing: “Congratulations.
“Wishing you a wonderful life together as you walk down the aisle of love forever!!!”
Former UFC light-heavyweight king Jamahal Hill wrote: “Congrats.” And bodybuilding icon Jay Cutler wrote: “Congratulations to you guys.”
