RUMOURS are already swirling about Apple’s next iPhone and people aren’t convinced by an “ugly” new colour reportedly on the way.

In a few weeks, the tech giant is expected to lift the lid on a number of fresh gadgets.

Apple usually releases new iPhones every September so new iPhone 17 models are widely expected to play centre stage.

Among the upgrades and design tweaks, the company tends to introduce new colours.

And according to a leak, an orange model could be on the way.

“iPhone 17 lens protection cover will match the phone color,” Sonny Dickson tweeted.

“The orange one for the Pro Max might hint at a new shade, possibly dark gold or copper.”

If true, it would be the first time Apple has opted for this bold shade.

Judging by the reaction online, not everyone is sold on the idea.

“The Orange color is foul, To be honest the color looks like Dried Urine,” one person reacted on X.

“That orange is hideous,” another commented.

“The Orange absolutely has to go, that is not a good choice AT ALL,” a third added.

For anyone not keen on orange, there are some other rumoured options.

It’s also thought that there could be blue, green, and purple finishes in the works.

But we won’t find out until September when Apple is expected to officially unveil its latest big innovations.

Although the Apple event is likely now just weeks away, we won’t find out the truth until very close to the big day.

Just last year, I predicted the iPhone 17 release date, and that means I think I’ve worked out when the event will take place too.

Usually the iPhone reveal is on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the first half of the month.

So this year, we’re expecting to see it on Tuesday, September 9 or Wednesday, September 10.

Tuesday feels like the safer pick, so mark your calendars.
