THIS is the horrific moment a Ukrainian refugee is stabbed to death by a homeless man on a train just metres away from terrified passengers.
Harrowing footage showed 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska’s final moments before the knifeman sliced the back of her throat in a “random attack”.

In the bloodcurdling CCTV video, suspect Declarlos Brown Jr., 34, is seen sitting near the back of the carriage – seemingly restless and unsettled.
The depraved attacker cowers down into the window his his hood up, his head twitching nervously.
Moments later, Iryna, who previously fled to the US to escape the war in Ukraine, is seen boarding the train wearing a pizzeria uniform and cap.
The unsuspecting refugee uses her phone and has her earphones in, completely oblivious to the fact that Brown is producing a knife right behind her.
The eerie footage shows Brown flicking open what appears to be a pocket knife.
He then jolts up with his knife-wielding arm stretched out before launching into the frenzied assault.
Brown was arrested and charged with first degree murder after the senseless railway attack in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tragic Iryna was pronounced dead on the light rail after being stabbed in the neck at least one time, police said.
The haunting ordeal unfolded on the on the Lynx Blue Line at around 9:50pm on August 22.
In the moments following the horrific attack, the suspect walked away from Iryna, going into another carriage before fellow passengers started to notice blood dripping from him.
Brown was also somehow injured in the attack, according to reports.
Minutes after the deadly stabbing, the knifeman exited the train at the next stop, before authorities located him shortly after.
A heartbreaking GoFundMe for Iryna said the Ukrainian had “recently arrived in the United States, seeking safety from the war and hoping for a new beginning”.
The fundraiser, which was set up for her family, also said: “Tragically, her life was cut short far too soon… This is an irreparable loss for her family.”
Brown has been arrested multiple times since 2011.
His offences include larceny, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and communicating threats.

He is homeless and has spent five years behind bars for the robbery with a deadly weapon charge, local media reports.
Other past charges against Brown have been dropped, according to the Charlotte Observer.
But the alleged killer currently has pending charges for misuse of the 911 system in January following a police welfare check.
The outlet reported that Brown told authorities during the visit he believed someone had given him a “man-made” material that controlled when he ate, walked, and talked.
The affidavit said: “Brown wanted officers to investigate this ‘man-made’ material that was inside of his body.”
Cops then reportedly advised Brown that he was suffering from a medical issue – and said there was nothing they could do for him.
He became irate over their response and called 911, before being arrested shortly after, the newspaper reported.
The investigation into the horrendous attack is still ongoing as cops work to find a motive.
