House Republicans Vote to Rename Kennedy Center Opera House After Melania Trump

A short amendment made to the fiscal 2026 Interior-Environment spending bill in Congress called for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts venue to be named after the First Lady, and it passed 33 to 25.
