How NFL fans can watch Eagles-Cowboys season opener after world’s largest illegal streaming website is shut down

NFL fans have been left reeling after a popular illegal streaming site was shut down.

Just days before the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys were set to kick off on Thursday night football, Streameast was shut down.

Streameast was one of the largest illegal streaming sites in the world.

Last year, it drew a combined 1.6 billion visits across multiple domains.

Many NFL fans used the site to stream their favorite teams or NFL Red Zone instead of purchasing a streaming package.

However, that is no longer an option, as Streameast was shut down on August 24th.

Fans were devastated and shared their thoughts on social media.

“Streameast getting shutdown is a gamechanger. Does this mean i have to pay to watch sports now?” one fan said.

“Now that Streameast is down, you’re gonna have to visit that annoying cousin with cable to watch the game,” another fan said.

“One of my worst fear just came to life. Rip streameast you will be missed!” a third fan said.

“RIP Streameast man,” a fourth fan said.

The Athletic reported a joint effort between the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment and law enforcement officials in Egypt took down the site.

Authorities seized multiple credit cards and cash in a raid as well as laptops and smartphones.

A connection was also found between Streameast and an Emirati shell company that allegedly laundered $6.2 million in advertising revenue.

Streameast is gone for good, but there are still multiple, legal options for fans to watch Thursday night football.

The game is broadcast by NBC, so it will be available on traditional broadcast TV.

It will also be available on Peacock, which is available for $7.99 a month.

Fans can also listen to Cowboys-Eagles on the radio thanks to local broadcasts.

Philadelphia residents can listen on SportsRadio 94-WIP (94.1 FM).

Dallas residents can listen on 105.3 The Fan and La Grande 107.5 FM.
