THE “Axis of Evil” will lay down the gauntlet for a World War Three showdown with the West at Beijing’s military parade, experts believe.
The eyes of the world will be on the tyrannical trio of Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un as they try to cement themselves as a new world order.

The parade will mark the first ever time Xi, Kim and Vlad have met together since all three rose to power.
The powerful leaders, often dubbed the “Axis of Evil” due to how they rule over their nations with an iron fist, are seeking to challenge the dominance of the US-led West.
All three have an explosive relationship with the rival bloc from China‘s constant threats to invade Taiwan by force, Russia’s refusal to end the war in Ukraine and Kim’s worrying nuclear arsenal.
They will be among 26 foreign leaders attending the event in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Among the other countries expected to attend include fellow anti-Western nations in Iran and Belarus.
The parade is set to be one of the largest international events of the year – something Xi and his cronies will be happy to boast about.
Dr. Alessandro Arduino, an expert on Chinese private security, told The Sun: “My expectation is that this parade will be used as a platform to project power.
“And of course all military parades do that, but this is definitely being used to show unity with Russia, North Korea and their other allies.”
It will feature ground troops marching in formation, armoured columns and aerial echelons.
A huge number of weaponry and equipment will also be shown to the world for the first time, say Chinese military officials.
They include land, sea, and air-based strategic weapons, advanced precision warfare equipment and drones.
The most concerning for the West will be China‘s formidable anti-ship ballistic and cruise missiles, such as the DF-26 and YJ-12, and their range of nuclear weapons.
China’s deep and ever-growing arsenal will play a pivotal role in sending a message to their rival superpowers that they are not to be messed with, Mr Arduino says.
He explained: “At the parade they could show off their nuclear ballistic missiles and gesture ‘ if you shoot a nuke on our side, we will be able, no matter what, to reply’.”
“This is a clear message to the US and Europe that they are no longer untouchable.”
Countries like France are already preparing for the worst case conflict erupting on their soil amid the constant threats of war.
Parisian health bosses have been told to brace for a “major engagement” by March 2026, with chilling instructions to be ready to treat a flood of wounded troops from across the continent.
Nato chief Mark Rutte has already sounded the alarm saying Russia and China together could light the fuse on World War Three.

He laid out a nightmare scenario saying if Beijing seizes Taiwan while Putin strikes eastern European Nato territory then a global war will break out instantly.
Former British Army officer Hamish de Bretton Gordon believes the parade – and who is in attendance – will be viewed as very “provocative” by the West.
He said: “It’s a very significant parade which will really irritate the Americans and no doubt the American President Donald Trump in particular.
“It is a chance for China to demonstrate their strength and make a statement that it has its own military power but is also aided from the likes of the Russians.
“People like President Putin will be delighted to attend because yet again it brings him back onto the world stage – somewhere a tyrannical leader who’s attacked another country certainly shouldn’t be.
“It is a big, big statement and will certainly antagonize the West who are trying to find peace in Europe and peace with President Putin.
“I think it’s it is raising the stakes around the globe when really everybody in the world wants to see pressure taken off.”
The Axis of Evil will be trying to form a front and show they are just as powerful, if not more powerful than Nato
Hamish de Bretton Gordon
Mr de Bretton Gordon believes one of the most concerning elements to the parade is the coming together of the Axis of Evil.
He said: “The Chinese are powerful enough on their own but there is a new world order developing.
“The Axis of Evil will be trying to form a front and show they are just as powerful, if not more powerful than Nato.
“Some, especially Kim Jong-un, the Iranians and of course President Putin are directly against the West at the moment.”

Xi and Putin have already caught the eyes of the globe after announcing plans to form a new group to directly rival Nato.
On Monday, the duo held a convention in Tianjin on the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
Moscow and Beijing have touted the SCO as an alternative way to counter to Western-led political and security blocs.
Putin said the world needed a “system that would replace outdated Eurocentric and Euro-Atlantic models, and take into account the interests of the widest circle of countries”.
These recent talks have created a new nickname for the group of nations involved – the axis of upheaval.
During this parade China is going to flex its arm as it has never done before
Dr. Alessandro Arduino
Discussions around the SCO are sure to have stoked concerns within Nato, Mr de Bretton Gordon believes.
Of the 26 countries attending the parade Slovakia are the only Nato member on the list.
Slovak PM Robert Fico is a known Putin sympathiser and even said last year that Russia has been “demonised” by the West since the war.
Fico and Putin will hold a bilateral meeting in China during the week – only adding to the ire felt by the rest of Europe.
China will want to impress on a global stage

EVER since Xi rose to power in Beijing 12 years ago he has had a clear goal to transform China into a global superpower.
They now boast immense economic power and Xi has developed the world’s largest army capable of taking on any enemy.
China is also a major player in the world of tech, mainly artificial intelligence, and weapons developments.
Beijing also possess nuclear capabilities and is quickly developing its nuke arsenal by building new missile silos and modernizing its delivery systems.
Mr Arduino explained: “China sees itself very much as as a superpower on the same lines as the United States.
“What China lacks is the size of the nuclear capability of the Americans, but actually with Russia on board they sort of balance that up.
“At the parade they could show off their nuclear ballistic missiles and gesture ‘ if you shoot a nuke on our side, we will be able, no matter what, to reply’.”
“This is a clear message to the United States that they are no longer untouchable.”
Mr Arduino believes the Chinese dictator will be keen to put on a spectacle after witnessing both Russia and the US attempt their own military festivals this year.
He said: “I think it can be interesting to make a comparison with the US’s most recent military parade and the Russian military parade which Xi Jinping himself attended.
“Russia’s military parade was a mostly failed show force as there was not much equipment and most of the high-tech ones were not battlefield tested.
“Then if you look at Trump, the parade showed that there was an internal friction between different people inside the United States.
“While in China, of course, there is no this friction.”
Nato would have all but certainly urged all its members to avoid making a trip to Beijing, according to Mr de Bretton Gordon.
He said: “I’m sure there was a coordinated response across Nato going out saying anybody thinking about going should not.
“It should be seen as virtually impossible for Western countries to attend a meeting like this when two of the world’s greatest tyrants are present and of course Iran.
“I’m sure all Western leaders have discussed this and made sure that nobody attends or even shows any indication that they’re supporting this parade.”
Xi’s sinister plot
Experts believe dictator Xi will try and cement China as a global superpower – while even plotting seeds against Russia and North Korea.
Mr Arduino, who also works as a Royal United Services Institute Associate fellow, believes the parade could be a ploy from China to regain ultimate power within the Axis of Evil.
He said: “During this parade China is going to flex its arm as it has never done before.
“This will be a showcase not only to the US but also to Russia and North Korea.
“It’s showing their allies like Putin and Kim that China is not just an economic juggernaut, but is also rising high through technology and defence.”

Russia and North Korea have strengthened their ties immensely in recent years.
Putin has met Kim on several occasions with the pair exchanging presents, sharing car rides together and signing key bilateral agreements.
North Korea has also been one of Russia’s greatest allies during the gruelling conflict in Ukraine.
Kim has been providing Moscow with troops to be deployed in Kursk to help Russian soldiers fend off a Ukrainian incursion in the city.
The dictator is believed to have sent around 12,000 soldiers to help fuel Vlad’s meat-grinder approach to the war.
Reports are even suggesting that up to 30,000 more fighters could be sent across in the coming months should the conflict continue.
Whereas China has tried to remain neutral during the Ukraine war – even calling for a ceasefire in recent weeks.
Xi has never condemned the illegal invasion and has bolstered economic, trade and security cooperation with Putin since the full-scale invasion in February 2022.
Mr Arduino believes tension could be brewing among the tyrannical trio over North Korea’s clear intentions to be Russia’s top ally.
“It would be very difficult to say at this stage but one thing is sure is that China is not looking with a good eye at the North Korean regime getting closer to Russia,” Mr Arduino warned.
“The fact that the PRK (People’s Republic of Korea) is sending thousands of soldiers and equipment to Russia to align itself more is actually making itself more distant from China.
“I’m sure this is something that in one way or another will be discussed.”
