HULK Hogan is opening a massive new bar in New York City.
The WWE superstar is opening for business across the street from Madison Square Garden.

Madison Square Garden is an extremely important part of Hogan’s legacy.
It is where he made his debut in 1979 and where he won his first championship against Iron Sheik in 1984.
He was the headliner of WrestleMania at MSG in 1985 fought a tag team match in Summer Slam there in 1991.
Now, Hogan is continuing his MSG legacy by opening a bar across the street from the iconic venue.
The new spot, called Slam, will feature a wall of windows looking at the arena.
Slam will be filled with Hulk Hogan memorabilia and feature TVs playing his best moments.
The bar will serve Hogan’s beer brand, Real American Beer, and be themed to look like the inside of MSG.
Hogan lives in Florida, and already has a bar there, but this will be his first venture in New York.
He is also expected to be a regular at the spot, according to Page Six.
NYC nightlife guru Rich Rosen saw the available space and immediately thought of Hogan.
He went to an autograph signing with Hogan just to pitch the idea to him.
“I basically waited 5 hours on line to get two seconds with Hulk Hogan,” Rosen told Page Six.
“I came with an 8-by-11 glossy picture of Madison Square Garden, and in the picture is our [storefront].
“I walked up to Hulk, I dropped the picture in front of him.”

Rosen said he gave Hogan his card and got a call from him just days later.
The bar is set to open in the fall of this year.
Hogan doesn’t have direct ownership in the bar, but rather will license his name to the project.
This business venture comes after Hogan was rumored to have a major health scare.
Reports suggested he was on his deathbed, but it is believed he was only in the hospital to address pre-existing health concerns.
