This will be a special year for Bigg Boss 19, as the show will air on JioHotstar as well as Colors TV.
In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Ashnoor discusses how age is not the criterion for entry into the Bigg Boss house and more.
All these working years have prepared me enough to be mature and know how to get along with people of different age groups.
This decision to enter the Bigg Boss house is surprising, considering that you had just started work as the leading lady on TV. What prompted you to take the show?
Honestly, even as a kid, I have done a lot of characters wherein I have carried the show title. Of course, Suman Indori was my first show after my break, and again, I was carrying the show title. Bigg Boss happened and here I am.
Don’t you think you are too young for a show like this? Your take.
I don’t think that it is too early for me to take up Bigg Boss. Considering that I have been in the industry since I was a kid, I believe that the eligibility to get into the house is not based on age but on maturity. All these working years have prepared me enough to be mature and know how to get along with people of different age groups.
I am a Gen Z. I am going to follow that, and be a Gen Z person inside the house.
How are you at making friends? What is the attribute you look at when you make friends?
I am an extrovert, and I love making friends. Even when I am inside the house, I will be looking at real friendships. I feel that when I am friends with someone, I am truly friends with them and don’t entertain any kind of games.. When I see similar vibes in a person, that will be a match.
Is there any game plan in mind when you enter the house?
I am going to maintain ME, my dignity and my mannerisms. Even if someone tries to mess with me, I am of course not going to stoop down.
Fashion statements in the Bigg Boss house have also caught on as a growing trend. What kind of styling will you prefer?
I am a Gen Z. I am going to follow that, and be a Gen Z person inside the house. That will come in my dressing sense also.
What do you want your fans to see and admire in you?
I would love my fans to see my real version, the real me. If they think I am deserving of their love, I would expect them to shower all their love on me.
Why do you think viewers will like you in the house?
Being real, I feel that if I am going on a reality show, after playing characters for the past 16 years, I believe that I will get my space to be myself, and I will love the audience to notice that in me.
