AARON Rodgers shared his displeasure with the NFL’s decision for the Pittsburgh Steelers star to not wear his usual game attire.
The 41-year-old doesn’t have much time to get his outfit right for the upcoming season, however, with the Steelers‘ opening game on September 7.

Rodgers will be playing in his 21st season in the 2025-26 campaign.
However, the four-time NFL MVP will have to wear something unusual on the field that’s unusual to him.
Rodgers’ helmet he wore last season, the Schutt Air XP Pro Q11 LTD, has been banned from the NFL after failing to meet the league’s new safety standards.
That model is a 2012 version of Rodgers’ helmet of choice throughout his over 20-year career.
He has been practicing in the Schutt Air XP Pro VTD II.
However, on Tuesday, Rodgers revealed his disdain concerning the new helmet.
“I don’t like it, no,” Rodgers told reporters.
“I’m trying to change. We’re in the process still.
“It looks like a damn spaceship out there.”
The star quarterback continued, “We got to change it.
“The face mask doesn’t fit the helmet because that’s an old face mask, obviously just like I’m old, but we’re trying to find the right helmet right now.”
Rodgers had previously voiced his dislike of the new helmet back in June
“I can’t stand the helmet,” Rodgers, per ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.
“I’ve worn a Schutt for 20 years and somehow it finally didn’t pass the safety standard.”

Rodgers doesn’t have much time to figure out which helmet to wear for the Week 1 meeting against his former team, the New York Jets, on Sunday, September 7, which is a little over three weeks away.
While Rodgers has fumed over his helmet situation, rookie quarterback Will Howard has been dealing with a finger injury.
The Ohio State product broke his finger on his throwing hand after a center-quarterback exchange last week.
Howard won’t have surgery but will wear an immobile around his ring finger and pinkie as he looks to recover.
