ICE agents confirmed to attend Miami’s Club World Cup matches as ticket sales and prices plummet

THE Club World Cup is off to a dreadful start with ticket prices plummeting for the early games.

Tickets for the opening game in Miami started for around $350, but fell as low as $20 ahead of game time.

The factor that seems to have made an impact on this pricing is the announcement that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would be present at the games in Miami.

“Let the games begin,” the government agency said in a now-deleted Facebook post.

“The first #FIFAClubWorldCup games start on June 14th in Miami, FL at the Hard Rock Stadium.

“CBP will be suited and booted ready to provide security for the first round of games.”

Ticket prices were already dropping for the event, but there was a drastic decline after the news came of ICE’s involvement.

Soccer fans have mixed feelings about the Club World Cup and shared their thoughts about the tournament on social media.

“The club World Cup has never had hype,” one fan said.

“Football fatigue is real,” another fan said.

“The Club World Cup should be more hyped than it is,” a third fan said.

“No one is interested in this farce of a tournament,” a fourth fan said.

“It’s much better than the previous editions to be honest,” a fifth fan said.

While prices fell, there was still a massive amount of attendance for the opening game.

A total of 60,927 fans packed Hard Rock Stadium to watch Inter Miami face off against Al Ahly.

Hard Rock stadium can hold 65,000 fans.

Other opening games also saw massive attendance across the US.
