If Meghan torched the royal family just to do her bland cooking show her life must be SO sad, expert blasts

AN expert has blasted Meghan Markle for having a “sad life” if she dropped the royal family just to do a cooking show.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, had a slew of negative reviews for her first season of With Love, Meghan.

Experts have bashed the show for being ‘out of touch’ as Meghan cooks out of a hired home[/caption]

She was bashed by experts and viewers alike for being unrealistic and “out of touch” while cooking out of a hired home.

But she persisted with a second series, opening up about her time in the UK and her marriage to “H”.

Meghan had teased the cringey episodes with a trailer earlier this month, in which she said she loved “finding ways to show she cares”.

Commentator Samara Gill told the Royal Exclusive show: “She would be fine if there wasn’t the sort of destruction that had that had come in the past five years towards the Royal Family, and towards a lot of other people along the way.

“I feel like it’s like… is this all there is?

“Is this what that entire fight for freedom was about? If it all amounts to this bland cooking show and her prancing through a Montecito orchard in linens?

“It’s sort of anticlimactic to be honest and it’s kind of a bit sad in my opinion. It should have been more genuinely.

“Even looking at past Tig blog reviews and things like that she had so much more spirit and so much more to offer. Now it’s just very manufactured.

Prince Harry does not appear in any of the show’s new episodes, featuring only in two photographs.

But Meghan references her husband several times, including one scene where she shows off the Duke’s hypocritical 40th present.

She proudly held up a blue baseball cap she made for her hubby with the initials PH40.

The PH refers to his royal title, Prince Harry, despite the fact the pair stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.

The second series premiered two weeks after Harry and Meghan announced a watered-down deal with the streaming giant Netflix.

They signed a “multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects”, instead of a reported $100million contract five years ago.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a story on her Instagram showing Lilibet, four, just hours after the second series of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan landed on screens.

The cute clip sees Meghan walking through a home towards a portrait that’s resting on the side of a kitchen counter.

Lilibet – donning pink pyjamas – can be seen walking up to the picture, which is wrapped with white ribbon, before kissing the image.

The clip, captioned: “Morning surprise from my husband,” films the photograph, which shows Meghan playing with the family’s beloved dog Guy, who passed away earlier this year.

After Lilibet kisses Guy in the picture, she walks away, as Meghan zooms in closer to the sweet black-and-white image.

The song My Guy, by Mary Wells, plays in the background of the short video.
