Clark‘s issue has seen her miss three games, including the All-Star Game.

Although she has been travelling with the team.

And a statement released on Thursday by the team on their website provided positive news on Clark’s recovery.

However, the Fever medical team did not give a timetable on Clark’s potential return.

The statement said: “Following a July 15 injury to her right groin, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark underwent further medical evaluations earlier this week.

“The team can confirm that no additional injuries or damage were discovered through the evaluations.

“Clark will continue working with the Fever medical team on her recovery and rehabilitation, with the priority on her long-term health and well-being.

“There is no timetable available for Clark’s return, and no additional details will be provided at this time.

“Any further updates will be shared as they become available.”

Clark has been battling injuries for much of the season.

She has already overcome left groin and left quad strains earlier this season.

These issues have caused her to miss 11 out of 24 games this season on top of the All-Star Game.

Clark admitted earlier this week that these injury woes have started to weigh on her mind.

The 23-year-old told Glamour: “This is the first time I haven’t felt like a young body that can run around and sprint every day and just continue to do that.

“Being a professional athlete, you really have to take care of both your body and your mind — it’s been a journey learning about that.”

Regardless, Fever head coach Stephanie White said it was a “relief” to hear good news on Clark.

White told the franchise’s YouTube page: “It’s definitely a relief to know there’s nothing else going on, and no more damage.

“It’s just being patient with the process.”
