Clark failed to miss a game throughout her college career with Iowa Hawkeyes.
She followed up that unblemished record by featuring in every game in her rookie season with the Fever.
There are now concerns she could experience long-term injury issues because of the physical treatment she receives from opponents.
Clark’s absence is not just a problem for the Fever, but the League.
Ticket prices have plummeted since her spell on the sidelines began, with fewer eyeballs tuning in.
The matchup between the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever was set to be a marquee event.
